Tangram was founded in 1985 and is a non-profit located in Indianapolis, IN. As a non-profit, we are continually trying to figure out ways to 1) sustain and
support their work over the long-term and 2) improve and demonstrate their impacts in effective ways. Because of funding constraints, we do not currently have any employees who are dedicated to marketing and communicating Tangram's impact on the broader community.  One method that has become very useful for non profits is strategic story telling. Non profits regard stories as central to their communications, and most expect the importance of stories for their organizations to increase. Most often stories are being used as strategies to increase awareness, solicit fundraising and demonstrate impacts. Project Location: 5155 Pennwood Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46205
Project Synopsis: Activities/Actions Required
  • Researching Tangram's programs and services
  • Interviews with our Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) who carry out the front line work of the organization
  • Compiling data on target audiences to maximize increased awareness, fundraising and overall impact
  • Working with Tangram administrative employees to create implementation and sustainability for the campaign
  • Research potential marketing partners with subject matter expertise in strategic story telling
