Skills & Expertise
Project Synopsis: Challenge/Opportunity
Classavo is an innovative ed-tech platform designed to modernize and simplify the educational experience for both students and instructors. While the platform has gained traction in the U.S. and Singapore, its leadership is now setting its sights on India, one of the world’s largest and most dynamic education markets. With over 147 million students in higher education, India presents a compelling growth opportunity—but its complex educational, cultural, and economic landscape requires a thoughtful market entry strategy.

This project challenges students to help Classavo determine how to position itself for success in India by evaluating cultural fit, product-market alignment, and financial feasibility. The team will be asked to contribute research, strategic recommendations, and investor-facing materials that support Classavo’s expansion roadmap.
Project Synopsis: Activities/Actions Required
  1. Conduct cultural and institutional research to understand the psychology of learning and teaching in India.
  2. Evaluate Classavo’s product-market fit by analyzing content delivery norms, user behavior, digital penetration, and localization requirements.
  3. Identify potential content partners, local publishers, academic influencers, and platform distributors.
  4. Develop a comparative pricing and monetization strategy aligned with Indian purchasing power and expectations.
  5. Build a basic financial model with projected revenue, cost structures, and funding requirements.
  6. Identify education-focused VCs, accelerators, or government initiatives that may support international expansion.
  7. Create a polished 15-slide investor pitch deck summarizing the findings and go-to-market strategy.
