This class will require students to apply core concepts of value creation to a real---life environment. Students will prepare recommendations employing a value creation perspective. Students will also be required to propose a project based on a real firm. The project will require students to diagnose and prescribe how the firm's value creation process can be better understood and improved.

We are constantly on promotion when our customer is already extremely loyal and has a good disposable income. Would she have purchased anyway if we weren't on promo? Are we just giving our product away? Where is the point of diminishing returns if we stopped promo or promoted less. What is the right pricing and promo strategy to maximize sales and profitability?
