Jessica Bierman is the Founder and CEO of JBIER Inc., a women-owned New York based fashion and lifestyle startup that has evolved into a scalable talent pipeline and career accelerator. With 17+ years of experience across the retail, fashion, and beauty industries, Jessica brings deep cross-functional expertise in e-commerce, business development, talent training, and strategic brand storytelling.
After graduating from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing in 2014, she has built a robust global network working alongside esteemed companies, such as The Esteé Lauder Companies, Macy’s Inc., Rodan + Fields Skincare, and Adrienne Landau. In March 2015, Jessica’s passion and appreciation for e-commerce, resale, and sustainability, inspired her to begin her entrepreneurial journey as a small business owner of JBIER on Poshmark, a leading e-commerce marketplace for new and secondhand merchandise. What began as a resale business grew into a comprehensive fashion, beauty, and lifestyle brand, JBIER Boutique - founded in May 2020 and officially incorporated as JBIER Inc. in April 2021.
As the Founder of JBIER Boutique and the JBIER Fashion Internship Program (FIP), Jessica’s mission is to bridge the gap between fashion, e-commerce, and career development by providing accelerated expertise and resources essential for young entrepreneurs to ignite their careers in fashion and retail. Through the FIP’s multi-track training model, Jessica has mentored and managed over 300+ interns and partnered with 90+ universities to offer immersive, virtual hands-on experiences in project management, business development, human resources and talent acquisition, social media marketing, fashion merchandising, as well as web design, photography, and videography. With a 90%+ full-time job placement rate, FIP has placed alumni at companies, such as Ross, Saks Fifth Avenue, Centric Brands, Burlington, TJX Companies Inc., Disney, and Conde Nast.
Jessica is also a Career Management Coach and Advisor who provides one-on-one coaching and workshops in self branding, resume building, interview preparation, LinkedIn optimization, networking, and entrepreneurship. She launched Career Acceleration Program (CAP) workshops, starting with the “Interview 101” pilot module that includes personalized mock interviews and coaching for career readiness.
As JBIER transitions into a Career Accelerator and industry talent pipeline, Jessica is focused on scaling partnerships with employers and academic institutions. She brings expertise in business strategy, brand storytelling, market research, and leadership development, and is passionate about integrating DEI and sustainability into every aspect of her work.
