Just after high school, I enrolled in Chartered Accountancy, one of the most rigorous and prestigious professional qualifications in the field of finance in India. The course was very dynamic and required one to have a wide span of knowledge in areas related to accounting standards, auditing standards, taxation, finance, and strategic cost management. I passed the Intermediate Chartered Accountancy exam with an All-India Rank (AIR) of 47 and secured an internship, which is a rigorous practical training of three years, in one of the top auditing firms in Surat. With my sheer dedication and disciplined studies, I qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2017 with an All-India Rank (AIR) of 21 in the final exams, when only 23% of the candidates managed to clear the exam. During the same period, I also attended college and completed my Bachelor of Commerce from SPB College of Commerce, Surat, India.
My strong academic credentials and professional qualifications landed me at India’s largest EPC and technology company, Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T). L&T is an MNC having offices in 30 countries and also has 5 offices in USA. While working at L&T, I realized that strategic cost management is essential for a company’s success and has a special focus from the top management. I decided to pursue Cost and Management Accountancy (CMA) alongside my full-time job. The course gave deep insights into the cost management framework, cost accounting, and strategic cost optimization approaches. I secured an All-India Rank (AIR) 3 in my CMA exam. 
Along with my commitments at work, during COVID-19, I volunteered at an NGO to tutor unprivileged children virtually. I also joined a local social organization that brings professionals from different walks of life onto one platform and organizes financial literacy camps and career guidance seminars for the wider benefit of the community. These experiences helped me develop a strong interest in finance, and I aim to simplify finance for people and businesses. Now, I now aspire to pursue a leadership role in management.
