Founded in 2015 and rededicated in 2018, the Lougheed Center for Applied Learning at SUNY Potsdam is the first integrated academic opportunity center of its kind in the SUNY system. Its mission is to provide coordinated experiential learning opportunities that broaden and integrate students' knowledge and skills, fostering self-discovery for engaged and lifelong academic, personal, and career success. The center supports various applied learning activities, including internships, student research, and service learning.
