Jordan started his first education technology company, Real Time Cases (acquired), that raised over $2,000.000 in venture funding while an undergraduate at Lehigh University studying Accounting, Finance, and Entrepreneurship.

Outside of work, Jordan is passionate about cooking, hiking, traveling, sailing, tennis, public speaking, photography, mixology, and coaching/connecting fellow entrepreneurs.

Packaged Sustainable is looking to expand its network of Sustainability Packaging Champions (SPCs) by engaging students on college campuses. These SPCs will help drive the company’s mission by promoting sustainable packaging solutions while gaining valuable entrepreneurial experience. The challenge is determining the most effective way to market the SPC opportunity to college students.

This case challenges students to design a targeted, multi-channel marketing strategy that recruits college students into a mission-driven, entrepreneurial program. It requires balancing purpose-driven messaging with clear economic incentives while navigating how Gen Z discovers, evaluates, and commits to opportunities. Students will apply market research, brand positioning, and growth strategy principles to create a campaign that drives measurable recruitment outcomes in a competitive campus environment. 

  •  Analyze college student motivations, values, and career decision drivers related to sustainability and entrepreneurship 
  •  Evaluate how different marketing channels (digital, on-campus, peer networks) influence student awareness and engagement 
  •  Develop a differentiated value proposition that positions the SPC role as both purpose-driven and financially compelling 
  •  Design a messaging strategy that balances environmental impact, career development, and income potential 
  •  Recommend channel-specific tactics for campus outreach, including partnerships, events, and social-driven campaigns 
  •  Assess the role of peer influence, ambassadors, and social proof in driving student recruitment 
  •  Develop a measurement framework with KPIs to track recruitment performance, engagement, and conversion across channels 
  •  Synthesize research, messaging, and channel strategy into a cohesive marketing plan aligned with Packaged Sustainable’s growth goals
